Bathukamma is the most celebrated floral festival of Telangana, symbolizing the culture, traditions, and unity of women. During this nine-day festival, women prepare beautifully arranged flower stacks using seasonal flowers, sing traditional folk songs, dance in circles, and offer prayers to Goddess Gauri for prosperity, happiness, and family well-being. In Khammam District, the festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm in towns and villages, bringing communities together in a vibrant display of Telangana's rich heritage.

Bonalu is a traditional Hindu festival dedicated to Goddess Mahakali. Devotees, especially women, offer decorated pots (Bonam) filled with cooked rice, jaggery, milk, and neem leaves to the Goddess as a mark of gratitude and devotion. The festival features colorful processions, traditional dances, Pothuraju performances, and cultural celebrations. In Khammam District, Bonalu is celebrated with great devotion at Mahakali temples and local shrines.

Vinayaka Chavithi celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha. Beautiful idols are installed in homes and public pandals, followed by daily poojas, devotional songs, cultural programs, and grand immersion processions. The festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm throughout Khammam District.

Khammam District celebrates Christmas and Eid with harmony and unity. Christmas includes special midnight prayers, carol singing, and community gatherings in churches, while Eid is marked by special prayers, charitable activities, and festive meals in mosques, reflecting the district's rich cultural diversity.

Sri Rama Navami at Bhadrachalam is one of the most famous religious festivals in India. Devotees from across the country gather to witness the grand Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam, special poojas, bhajans, and spiritual processions held at the sacred temple on the banks of the Godavari River.
